Universitas PGRI Semarang is one of the universities participating in the Emancipated Student Exchange Program (PMM/Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka). This opportunity is a momentum for UPGRIS to provide the best experience for its students. A total of 117 students from various universities in Indonesia participated in this program for one semester.
“I appreciate the students’ seriousness in participating this program. So far, the program is running smoothly. Students are capable of participating all programs in a well manner,” said UPGRIS Rector, Dr. Sri Suciati, M.Hum, on the 2nd floor of UPGRIS Central Building on November 3rd, 2022.
In this hearing with PMM participant students, the Rector stated that she would try her best to facilitate the program to the fullest. “The facilities needed by students will be fulfilled provided that this is in accordance with the rules imposed by the government.”
In addition, the Rector also hopes that students participating in the PMM program actively involved in the Nusantara module program. “In my opinion, this is the best education program issued by the government. For this reason, students should fully take advantage of this program, especially for the Nusantara module program.” said the Rector.
In the Nusantara module program, students will be given the opportunity to learn directly on sites containing historical, spiritual, and cultural values that exist in Central Java. “UPGRIS provides opportunities for students to visit important places in Central Java,” the Rector added.
Head of the Professional Development Institute, Dr. Wiyaka, M. Pd., said that this event had been running smoothly for two months. “On this hearing occasion, students will convey the progress of the program they are carrying out.”
