“The campus supports and provides mentoring facilities to selected outstanding students. The goal is for them to be able to prepare themselves for advanced competition, so that they can achieve maximum results,” said Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Dr. Sapto Budoyo, M.H.
Sapto continued, in the mentoring, students will be given intensive training. Furthermore, the Rector of UPGRIS, Dr. Sri Suciati, M.Hum, hoped that the selected students would be able to compete at the national level.
“The outstanding student competition is an excellent way to stimulate the courage of students. These excellent seeds must be given the opportunity to perform and develop themselves,” Rector said.
Suci added that there are facts showing that high-achieving students have more opportunities to realize their dreams. “Many high-achieving students have become successful people,” she added.
In the selection process of outstanding students, Dani successfully defeated 6 competitors from various faculties. The student from the Food Technology study program, Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, was selected by the jury after various considerations, including English language skills, academic skills, and psychological tests.
