Service to Students Enhanced, Heads of UPGRIS Accommodate Feedback from Students

There must be good communication between students and campus officials to create good lecture conditions for students. To achieve this, campus officials must open up opportunities for students to express their feedback and opinions.

“I really hope for suggestions from students. This is helpful for improving the lecture system on campus,” said UPGRIS Rector, Dr. Sri Suciati, M.Hum, in the Three Higher Institutions Open House event, on the 7th floor of the Central Building, 8 February 2023.

The Student Executive Board (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa/BEM) organized the event. The topic of the event was Building Synergy, Quality, and Communication with UPGRIS Student Organizations and Institutions. 244 students attended the event.

The Rector added that the student dialogue program is a tradition that must be maintained to the next. “We really need students’ views to create policies that fit the needs of the students,” said Suci.

The chairman of the committee, A.Nugroho, said that in the event, apart from opening communication with officials at the university level, the aim of the event was to introduce three higher institutions to students, namely the Student Financial Institution (LKM), the Student Executive Board (BEM), and the Student Representative Council (DPM).

“This forum is also an aspiration forum for students to express their advice and input for the benefit of the campus,” he said. On the same occasion, Student President, M.Stalasful Mustofa, expressed his hopes regarding campus services to students.

“This forum is an opportunity for students to offer criticism and suggestions. The aim is that the problems faced by students are presented to university officials, and the right solution is found.” The forum was also attended by a number of leaders at the Dean, Vice-Chancellor, and Rector levels.
