A number of study programs at Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) are prepared to gain excellent accreditation.
The Rector of UPGRIS, Dr. Sri Suciati M.Hum, stated that the university will provide full facilities to pursue accreditation achievements that are targeted to be realized this year.
“The university will facilitate all matters related to UPGRIS, including efforts to achieve superior accreditation and new student admission targets to be more optimal,” Suciati said after the inauguration of the Dean at the campus, Tuesday 28 February 2023.
The study programs targeted to obtain superior accreditation this year are Indonesian Language Education, English Language Education, and PGSD. As for the Mathematics Education Study Programme, it will be submitted to participate in international-level accreditation.
The Rector also highlighted the process and results of PMB which will indirectly affect the results of institutional accreditation.
“The academic community must work hard to achieve the Main Performance Indicators (KPIs). This starts from the decent jobs obtained by graduates to the percentage of alumni who choose to continue their studies to a higher level,” she said.
The Rector also hopes that the Dean who has been appointed will be able to realize a number of planned programs.
“We hope these deans’ vision and mission can be achieved. We believe the elected Deans have the capacity to elevate the faculties they lead to be better,” she explained.
